PrintWhen Ndamukong Suh was drafted by the Detroit Lions it brought forth comments of how many Husker fans would automatically become Lions fans.
While Danny Woodhead didn't enjoy the same high profile as Suh, he has earned somewhat of a cult-like following amongst Patriot fans and certainly the same from his hometown of North Platte. Woodhead will always have some status here at Corn Nation as he was the first person I interviewed for the site, back when he was still setting records at Chadron State.
The Patriots take on the New York Jets today to determine which team advances the the AFC Championship game. In honor of Woodhead's status, this is your game thread.

Just read your interview with Danny Woodhead…good article. Liked the last sentence:
“I’ll continue to follow Woodhead’s career at Chadron State and perhaps in the NFL”.

…but I’ll offer this…
Danny Woodhead aside, I’m not sure who I dislike more: Bill Callahan, Bill Belichek, or Tom Brady.
Safe to say I’ll be rooting for Pittsburgh next week…

Looks like our young’un from North Platte won’t make it to the big dance this year…unless the Patriots can pull out a couple of miracles.
