Well we you not entertained? Some things to talk about today, the running backs, the defense (I have a link for that), and then there is the QB situation (I have lots of links for that). I don't think it's going away any time soon. Maybe it's time for some Husker Magic for a change?

Taylor Martinez, QB, Nebraska: Martinez earns the sticker on his first play alone: a 46-yard score on his first carry as a Husker. Plenty of room for improvement, of course, but if Martinez thought he had Huskers fans talking already, he's in for a surprise this week after Nebraska's 49-10 win over Western Kentucky.

We Have A Coward For An Athletic Director - I Am The 12th Man
Bill Byrne, Texas A&M's athletic director, is a coward not worthy of leading A&M's athletic department, according to Beergut. Byrne said on the radio show that the Aggies were not ready to compete if they had left for the SEC. But if the Aggies are not ready to compete, who's fault is that ultimately. The folks in College Station are not too pleased with Dollar Bill.
THE FULMER CUP SEASON CLOSES, AND GEORGIA IS YOUR CHAMPION
Georgia may be the champion, but look who finished second. - JJ
Nebraska is going to play Iowa, Michigan and Penn State every single year. That is pretty sweet. Well, unless you're Nebraska and you actually have to play that schedule every year.
It's going to take a while for that to set in. Maybe I can help. If you're one of those Husker fans who think winning nine games a season is automatic, YOU'RE OUT OF YOUR FUCKING MIND. This is going to be the biggest change Husker fans have to get used to - that this isn't the Big 12 North. It's more like the SEC. More later. - JJ
Dear Nebraska… " 40 Acres Sports
I’m not going to wish you luck, as that would be completely asinine. I do want to thank you for some great memories that have come at your expense over the years. Sure, you’ll always have San Antonio…but I’ll always have Lincoln.
Now that the season has started, I'm going to do my best to do what Bo Pelini does - barely think about the Texas game until it's a week away. One week at a time, Husker fans, one week at a time. - JJ
NEBRASKA BIG TEN: Divisions Done Wrong
Penn State as a crossover game? I’m not that thrilled. PSU is an aging football dynasty with nasty, vulgar fans. When Nebraska traveled to Happy Valley in 2002, "Jersey Shore" broke out in Beaver Stadium. Still - it’s a beautiful place. It’s chance for NU faithful in the Northeast to see a Husker road game every other year.
Sam McKewon doesn't feel as though the Big Ten got things right. And btw, Penn State fans, this is how many Husker fans remember you from 2002. I can recall hearing from someone how they were spit on, cursed at, had beer thrown on them, and all this while they were with their kids. Is that the kind of treatment Husker fans can look forward to in the future? - JJ
