is on at the Atlanta airport during my 8 hour layover. I’ve been here for hours and the first game of the day is finally about to start. Don’t worry, I’m reppin big red gear.

Just finished watching some EPL soccer

Perfect appetizer for college football – main course starts around 2:30.

Ugh

I just saw Arsenal get their clocks cleaned by an inferior team. At home.

Luckily I think the Huskers will probably be able to salvage the day.

btw

You might have noticed, but there’s been a site update recently that changed the appearance of some buttons, graphics, etc, and some of the formatting.

The unfortunate downside to that – there’s a bug that’s forcing you to log in each time you visit the site instead of keeping you logged in. I don’t think it’s hitting everyone, but if you’re having that problem, the site guys are aware of it, and are working on a fix.

Devin Gardner's in the game

So there’s something interesting. He just made a beautiful fade throw, but put a bit too much air under it. Went for a long gain instead of a TD.

UCLA 20 Texas 3

This game is for Texas what the Iowa State game was for Nebraska last year. Even now I’ve still seen some Texas fans bring up that loss on message boards. I guess they can shut up now.
I still want them to win though because a loss today takes a lot out of the significance of Oct. 16th. And if they can’t beat UCLA, what do you think Oklahoma will do to them?

But it's SOOOOOOOOOOOO hard to root for Texas

I can’t do it. The best I can do is be neutral. Whatever happens, happens.

Most idiotic comments of the day: Part one

1. ESPN analyst breaking down Florida and Texas’ troubles on offense. “Replacing Tebow and McCoy is not easy. These are iconic players, some of the best players ever to play college football”

-WTF? Tebow, I can see. But McCoy? I remember his last two games being thrown around by Nebraska and getting knocked out by Alabama. Hardly iconic, especially without a title…

2. ESPN/ABC comments before halftime highlights of theMichigan game. “Dennard Robinson saw limited action, but was dazzling as usual”

-As usual. You mean “as usual”, as in…the last 3 games? The guy has hardly played, and suddenly they are acting as if we’ve been seeing it for 3 years.

These morons will say anything…maybe they know that nobody is paying attention. (except me).

i'd have to agree

with them on one thing. Gilbert is no McCoy replacement. McCoy continually bailed the Texas offense out with his feet. Gilbert isn’t going to do that…. probably, ever.

No matter what

Even if Texas comes into Lincoln 3-2 they are still going to give their best shot and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was close.

But at the same time, if it isn’t close, a blowout over a 3-2 Texas team is just as good as a blowout over a 5-0 Texas team because…it’s Texas. And all Husker fans want to BEAT TEXAS

Guilty!

I don’t think they will win, but they still could. But yeah, I’m an eternal optimist.
