Nebraska vs South Dakota State PPV - Buying It or Not?

You've already spent $80 for two PPV blow outs, will you make it a third???? It is the last Husker game on PPV as next year games will be shown on the Big Ten Network, does that make any difference?

And in the comments section, if you're not getting PPV for this one, how are you going to follow it?

My brother is taking a college visit to Wyoming this weekend

So I’ll be in Laramie watching Air Force dismantle the Cowboys. Hopefully they have a scoreboard for other games around the country. I’ll try to give some feedback regarding Laramie and War Memorial Stadium since a LOT of Huskers will be going to that one next year.

I'll probably just listen to the game on the computer - or the phone...?

The best argument I could muster for PPV (which lost out – since I did already shell out for the other two) was that it’d be a chance to see every Husker play.
Kinda like a spring game for dummies where you only have to watch one side of the ball at a time.

iPhone

I’ll be at a wedding (seriously, I thought weddings were banned on gamedays? but apparently the bride isn’t from NE), so I’ll be hitting the little circle/arrow button on the browser of my phone a lot. Hello dead battery!!

If I weren’t at a wedding, I’d be going to one of the watch parties, probably Minsky’s or checking out the new party site in KC this year (somewhere in Westport). I’m a fan of hitting the watch parties for the early non-con’s.

Bar.

Going to Oktoberfest round 2 at the Crescent Moon in Omaha. Watch the game while drinking delicious german beer.

I'm going to Okoberfest too!

Except that during the game I’ll be on a plane going to the real deal in Munich. 1-AA foes and bye weeks worked out so nicely this season.

Rec'd for the visceral reaction this post caused.

Work

My campus ministry at Iowa State runs a concession stand at Jack Trice, and our games coincide this week, so I’ll be slinging ice cream, popcorn and sodas while the Huskers abuse the Jackrabbits. Thus far, this is the only “conflict” game of the season – here’s hoping it remains so for the rest of the way.

My family and I are going out of town to spend the day with my brother-in-law and his wife.

I have to spend quality time with the fam instead of watching the Huskers…. what is this world coming to?

So you got the fax. So why didn't you add it to the resume? What do you mean? Of course martial arts training is relevant.

I'll be lost

somewhere in a forest with the cub scouts. So I’ll be relying on CN updates and Twitter … again.
And if anyone is thinking they need me for something on 10/16 … NO!

wedding

Evening wedding in LeMars, IA – will be listening on the radioi on the way back to Harrisburg, SD. ***NOTE*** – DirecTV channel 671 replays the PPV games the next day for free. Even thought we’ll know the outcome we’ll be able to catch all the game action a day late.

NU/SDSU Reply on Dish Network

Could anyone tell me where I could find a replay of the game on Dish Network? Thanks!

Vasectomy

I planned my vasectomy around this game. I will be stranded on the couch, high on valium. I could have done it last weekend, but I had no idea how excited I might get during that game. I’m assuming that there is going to be bloody jackrabbit fur scattered across the field by the end of the 1st quarter. But, my family is originally from South Dakota and I almost went to SDSU instead of UNL. I have kind of always had a sick facination with this match-up, so…yes, I will be paying my $40 to watch the Huskers spank the Jacks. Go Big Red!
