Boy, you look at this and you realize how much the defense stood out in that second quarter. You also notice right away that Nebraska went quite a while without an offensive possession due to Idaho's turnovers.
I have seen some mention (although not here) concerning Nebraska's inability to sustain long drives. That's a little bit more than difficult when you're scoring on big plays as we have the first two weeks of the season.
Consider this - Taylor Martinez is currently tied for first in the nation with Daniel Thomas of Kansas State in long runs (20+). Rex Burkhead is currently tied for sixth, both are in the top ten in that category. That's pretty damned impressive, even considering the competition.
