That was a very ugly...
21 point win. Nebraska’s offense does not look like a contender with Martinez under center. I was at the game and television did not do the game justice.
Gomes is by far Nebraska’s best defensive player, he has the instincts of a vetern NFL pro bowler. One play in particular, he saw one of Idaho’s WRs take a step to the left and Gomes started running full speed ahead to breakup the WR sweep play.
I’m not here to bash the team but only winning the turnover margin by 2 when forcing 6, will not cut it.

What an awful day for the ACC
Virginia Tech loses to FCS JMU.
Georgia Tech loses to consensus worst team in the Big 12 KU.
Florida State is out of the game by halftime against OU.
The one team that was supposed to lose (Miami) is putting up a good fight, but they’ll probably lose too.
All the good teams in the ACC…losing on the same saturday. Ouch.

If Miami can pull it off against Ohio State and Penn State can shock Alabama, Nebraska could be ranked as high as #3 going into the game at Washington! Of course we’d have to jump Boise, but that might not be impossible with VT’s loss today. I think we’d be overrated, but still…when was the last time Nebraska has been in the top 5?
