Now this is a fun read...
Okay so I was bored at work today (not uncommon), and I spent some time over at "Rock M Nation", the SB nation fan site for Missouri. Of course, everyone over there thinks Nebraska is majorly over-hyped. They even have a thread called "Wisdom of the Crowds" where they are picking all the Big 12 games this season. The most recent one was week 10, and they have Missouri at 9-1 through 10 weeks and Nebraska at 7-3. Wishful thinking at best.
So I wondered, "What were the people on this site saying about this time last year?" This season Nebraska has been hyped quite a bit, but how much was Nebraska hyped last season in the eyes of the Missouri fan? I found the preview of Nebraska's defense from last year, and it was incredibly incorrect. Granted, it's impossible to know what's going to happen during the season (who would have possibly predicted the loss to Iowa State), but it makes their bias against Nebraska stick out like a sore thumb knowing now how the season actually played out.

Fun read. Major college football analysts thought Nebraska would have a very good defense last season. Bloggers from a rival fan site didn't. For some reason I can't trust their opinion that Nebraska is over-hyped once again this year. I'd rather go with the major college football analysts.

thank you
I was going to go back and do a recap of where we were last year, but didn’t have time.
The same stuff is going on this year – that without Ndamukong Suh, our defense won’t be near the caliber it was last year – and it’ll be interesting next year to go back and revisit the beginning of the 2010 season again.

A lot of things look pretty stupid in hindsight...
Such as this…

Heck, you can look at a lot of stuff from the summer of 2007 for some pretty funny stuff.
