2010 Husker Football Desktop Wallpapers - Download And Apply!

Just for you, oh fans of Corn Nation and Husker football - some 2010 computer desktop wallpapers. Each of these wallpapers have been created using photographs of Husker football action taken by professional photographer Dennis Hubbard, whose work has graced the cover of many a college football magazine.

I'm not going to pretend that I have crazy photoshop skills, but it's something I'm working on this year (spent years with cameras but my digital processing skills need to improve).

As of publish date, I've only created one resolution - 1600x1200 for each of these. If you're looking for a different resolution, let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate you. Given that a lot of wallpapers feature, well, a lot of textured backgrounds, flying text, and wild graphics, I wasn't sure how popular these would be if I just kept them simple. Let me know if you like these, and I'll see what else I can come up with.

[UPDATE - August 31st - I found out from our tech guys that all images are compressed when uploaded. With that in mind, images that have the correct resolution are available at my Flickr site. You may download them in the proper resolution from there. Thanks for your patience.]

Click on each image for the full 1600x1200 resolution, then right click, and you'll have the option to download to your computer.

Please let me know if you like these, hate them, want something different, or you have mad photoshop skills and are willing to help out with this kind of stuff.

How do I get the Cheerleader one. Would love to have that as my wallpaper for my laptop.

Wrong Size

I like these a lot, but the full size images are only 1000×750, which doesn’t scale nicely to anything.

Should scale to 4x3

Which is the same ratio as 1600×1200

Sadly, I have 1600×900, which could be difficult :(

ah, yes, my bad. It, however, doesn’t scale to the goofy 5:4 used on a lot of 19" screens. (1280×1024)… which wouldn’t be a problem if one could crop the sides, but there’s not much margin before you hit vital text :)

But, yeah, still not 1600×1200 :)
