I'll Be Home For..........Red Out Around The World!
For those of you who don't know me I am a U.S. Marine from Nebraska. I am stationed in Okinawa, Japan and I was recently medavac'd from Afghanistan and as much as I miss being with my unit it has given me the opportunity to be back in Nebraska for the October 16th showdown with UT. I can't wait, for me this is better than being home for Christmas. I hope to see fellow Corn Nation members wherever I end up for the game!

excuse
my ignorance, but when you say you were medavac’d from Afghanistan, that means you were wounded, correct?
We’ll try to determine who might be able to give you a welcome home soon….. who might be in the Lincoln area. :)

Thankfully not injured!
I became ill with an infection growing in my back and I had to have surgery performed in Afghanistan. After the surgery they told me I couldn’t stay so I fought for two days to talk a Dr. into signing papers to allow me to stay in theater but I was ordered to Medavac.
