Husker Women's Basketball to Face Oklahoma State In Nebraska's First Top Ten Matchup

Tonight, the fourth-ranked Husker women's basketball team will face the tenth-ranked Oklahoma State Cowgirls in the first-ever meeting between two top ten-ranked basketball teams. That includes men, women, and not just the University of Nebraska, but NCAA tourney match-ups and Creighton as well.

Nebraska comes in unbeaten at 19-0, while Oklahoma State is at 18-3. The game is pivotal in the Big 12 race as the Huskers have a 6-0 conference record with the Cowgirls just a half-game behind at 6-1. The winner of tonight's game will take the lead in the conference, potentially important for NCAA seedings in a few weeks.

Nebraska's 19 wins are the second-longest win streak in the nation, trailing UConn's 60 game (egad!) winning streak. The game will feature the Huskers' Kelsey Griffin vs Oklahoma State's Andrea Riley. Riley is the nation's leading scorer at 26.3 points per game while Griffin is 19th nationally with 19.3 points per game.
