Dennard to Stay
Christmas gift for Husker fans, Dennard has said he plans to stay and play his senior season next year for the Blackshirts.

"I'm not into that no more," Dennard said after Nebraska's Sunday practice in San Diego. "That's just talk."
Dennard said he plans to come back "for sure."
Sounds like he was considering it. I for one am glad to see him come back.
With Dennard sticking it out another year, it means the Blackshirts are only losing 5 players - Pierre Allen, Eric Hagg, Prince Amukamara, Rickey Thenarse, Dejon Gomes. While those were big contributors, none are irreplaceable as we have seen some pretty talented younger players step into those spots throughout this season and hold their own and Dennard's return helps make the loss of Prince not so bad.

Yay!
Omaha's Christmas List:
Anthony Tolliver to get healthy and resume doing this (see picture).
The Suns to go on a tear with their new parts.
A healthy Green Bay Packers team for a deep playoff run.
Gregory Echenique to become the love-child of Charles Barkley and Dikembe Mutombo.
Bubba Starling to say "Screw baseball" and head to Lincoln to take Taylor Martinez's job.
Still
Losing Prince and Haag is a pretty big deal. Probably not as bad as losing Suh, but still…there will probably be a bit of a drop off with the secondary, but the good news is that the D-line and Linebacker group should make up for it because they will be even better next year…assuming Crick and Lavonte David come back.
Gomes as well.
