PrintHere's your schedule for this week's upcoming bowl games.
I'll be watching as many as I can.... but here's the thing - we're supposed to go back to Nebraska for Christmas, probably leaving Thursday.... unless the weather doesn't cooperate.... which doesn't look good right now... or the roads don't improve... which doesn't look good right now either... this has been some of the worst driving I've ever experienced - there's a sheet of ice on everything, and moderate temperatures (moderate for Minnesota) aren't helping..... and then there's all those periods showing up in the middle of everything.....
What I'm trying to say is this. I don't know if I'll be around to start game threads for these. I don't know if you care. We've done a helluva job developing a community this season. I know that most of our traffic has disappeared due to the holidays and a lackluster bowl match up, and if you guys would like game threads, please let me know.

Best time to have it
is right before bed…drink it as hot as you can stand it, then crawl under a pile of blankets. You’ll sweat like a race-horse, but it sure seems to help “break” the cold.

Boise St.-Utah game will be the one I’ll be watching. Tonight it’s the U-Conn women going for history, and Thursday and Friday it’s family stuff.

How’s the weather been in everyone’s area? I know Jon’s been getting a lot of nasty stuff. Here in central Nebraska, it’s been quite nice, no measurable snow. Just one day of some ice and sleet.

Inch when Minnesota got their big storm, and its still on the ground. Just been cold, we keep missing most of the big storms, they go north of us and all we get is a bit of freezing rain. Been very cold though,

My question is
sometimes they spot the ball where the body part touched, but the announcers referred to where he extended the ball. Which is right?
I thought the extended ball only applied when you crossed the goal line.
I’m confused.
it's where the ball is...
but in that case, I think his butt his the ground before he extended the ball.
Part of it depends on what part of the body hits – you can put a hand down, but if your forearm touches the ground, you’re down.

It is where the tip of the ball is,
when you are down. Meaning an elbow, knee, leg, or any other major body part.

Just talked to my Brother in law,
and he’s got numerous people to get tickets for me for the Ohio State game. Lots of friends and family of his that have kids that go to NU. Connections are great,,,,especially if they come through!!!!
