Since I don't agree with the (BCS) Broken College System I'll go ahead and use the AP because they have a long standing history of getting it right.
#16 Oklahoma State @ #1 Oregon
#15 Missouri @ #2 Auburn
#14 Nevada @ #3 TCU
#13 Nebraska @ #4 Wisconsin
#12 Virginia Tech @ #5 Stanford
#11 LSU @ #6 Ohio State
#10 Oklahoma @ #7 Michigan State
#9 Boise State @ #8 Arkansas
Notice there are no 3 Loss Teams! Not sure how many 2 loss National Champs there are, but I know it's a few.
Just to finish this off I'll go alphabetical order for the winners
Rose Bowl = #16 Oklahoma St vs #8 Arkansas
Sugar Bowl= #2 Auburn vs #7 Michigan St
Fiesta Bowl = #14 Nevada vs #11 LSU
Orange Bowl = #13 Nebraska vs #5 Stanford
A city bids to have the Final Four and National Championship - Let's say it's New York City (That would be cool)
#8 Arkansas vs #11 LSU
#2 Auburn vs #13 Nebraska
Alphabetically the SEC would rule in this Mock
So since I bleed scarlet and cream let's say NU knocks off Auburn and Arkansas beats LSU again!
#8 Arkansas vs #13 Nebraska (It's happened before:) Just not in a playoff
Anyway it works out I believe a 16 team playoff would generate more money, bigger rivalries, and a True champion who wins through play instead of votes. I mean this ain't American Idol...
The NCAA crowns 88 champions in 23 sports. The only champion it does not crown is in Division I-A football...
Just for the Bowl lovers you take #17 - #32 and play out the other bowls. The teams who lose in the 1st round play each other in the other top bowls
Feedback is what I'm looking for!
