Want A Free Samsung 3D TV? Good, 'Cause We're Giving One Away!
I'm not eligible for this, but you are, so give it a shot. All you have to do is answer a question, like SBNation.com on Facebook, and follow them on twitter.
Here's the question:
What's the best sports moment you ever watched on television?
That's tough, isn't it?
So tough, I'm not sure how to answer it.
Was it Ndamukong Suh tossing Colt McCoy around like a rag doll or running over Cody Hawkins on his way to the end zone?
Or was it a non-Husker moment..... maybe the Olympics.....
Was it Franz Klammer's run at Innsbruck in 1976?

He’s giving him the buisiness!
"Where do you put the bayonet?" (upon seeing a flamethrower fo the first time)
"Touchdown, Tommie Frazier!"
The ’96 Fiesta Bowl was one of my favorite nights to be alive.

Nebraska 73-Oklahoma 21 (and it wasn’t that close!) My first and only trip to Norman. Holy $&it it still gets my heart racing.
Iowa State
Maybe because it’s so fresh in the memory, but that feeling when we all knew that Iowa State was going for two, and while we love the blackshirts, we knew that this could be it — Nebraska’s campaign for the Big 12 north could disappear — was simply debilitating. We couldn’t survive a loss that day, not after having lost already to Texas, and not after such a big win over Mizzou. The fake we knew was coming was set into action, everyone was up out of their seats, some with their eyes covered, and out of nowhere comes Eric Hagg to catch the interception. Wow, what a moment. What a moment. My favorite moment at least of this season.
My favorite moment
in Nebraska football was Davidson’s amazing catch in the 1997 win against Mizzou to force overtime!
Another would be Mike Tyson being knocked out by Buster Douglas, which was the beginning of the fall of one of the best boxers in history!

"Run for the round house,,,they can't corner you there!!!"
Homer Simpson: "Mmmmm,Beeeeer!!"
#1. Cory Schlesinger scoring two fourth-quarter TD's
in the 1995 Orange Bowl for a 24–17 victory over Miami to give Tom Osborne his first Title at Nebraska. I watch it a couple of times a year!
#2. Boise State ended a perfect 13-0 season by beating Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl in an 43-32 OT thriller. Capped by a Marriage proposal from game winning TD Running Back Ian Johnson to cheerleader Chrissy Popadics. Hollywood ending!
Those are pretty good.
I especially love the Schlesinger runs, because it’s Nebraska(duh!), but also because it was perfect playcalling. Miami was overplaying the option and then-BAM!-fullback trap up the gut.
Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.
The TV cameras missed the play both times
and then eventually caught up to it in time to see the ball cross the line.
Yep.
And if my memory is correct, I got faked on the first one, but saw the second one the whole way. And the 2 point conversion was awesome too. I was thinking, “DON’T THROW IT, DON’T THROW IT….NICE THROW!” Because, let’s be honest, Tommie’s throws to that point were hit and miss.
Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.
I've gotta go with the '95 Orange Bowl, also.
If I remember correctly, The broadcast opened with those forelorn shots of dried-up cornfields and abandoned farm houses that the networks just Love to use to depict our state. It was over-layed with Bob Costas’ mournful musings on Osborne’s inability to “win the big one”.
And I, for one, was having my usual doubts. Then came Scheslingers magnificent runs, and shots of the mighty Miami defense sucking air…those boys were absolutely spent!
Twenty-three years of “almost…so close…not again” were finally ended that night.
Oh, yeah...
Keep voting for Sydney Anderson for the Lowe’s Sr. class award .

Of course
the “PASS” was great also!

It's all fun and games until someone gets knocked up, down, or out!!
Do You Believe in Miracles??!?
I love the Huskers with every ounce of my being, but the greatest sports moment on television that these eyes have witnessed was the USA Hockey Team defeating the Soviet Union on that magical day at Lake Placid.
And for greatest college football moment…I’d have to throw Flutie’s game winning touchdown vs. Miami into the mix, just because that was such an entertaining game to watch start-to-finish and I hated Miami sooooo much that seeing them lose on that sort of a thunderbolt was just pure joy. (Frazier’s TD run vs. Florida in the Fiesta Bowl gets high marks too…)

1999 NBA Finals
Spurs over Knicks. It was a short season, but the Spurs tore apart ever opponent they faced that year.
1996 arizona state
Even though that game ripped my heart out at the end, it was the first time I saw my beloved huskers take the field in person. I moved out of lincoln before I got a chance to see a game, and when they came to Arizona that year, my brother and I got tickets to go watch them. It was the first time both of us had seen them live. Even though we lost the game, it was definitely the best sports moment in my life in that few moments.
Kirk Gibson
Kirk Gibson’s homerun off of Dennis Eckersley in the 1998 World Series.

Boise State beating OU in OT.
Loved, loved, loved it.
That game sat on my DVR for nearly a year, I watched that 4Q/OT almost weekly.
Hank Aaron
I remember watching Hank Aaron bat away the record breaking home run with my dad and brother. We had been watching the Braves for months just waiting for the moment that we just knew was going to happen. We jumped up and down and shouted for days about this legend after seeing it happen on tv.
