Great win, ’Skers! Love it! That was a huge statement on ALL sides of the ball. For all the talk about their trench play for both sides, I would say we decidedly won that battle and therefore the game. On to ISU!!! Cannot let up and let Mizzou back in to the B12 championship game.
My thoughts exactly
Do NOT let ISU happen again! They’re a better team this year too.

good game Huskers
your secondary really is as good we heard/feared. If Suh were still around, you guys would be unstoppable, as it is you’re just damn good.
Hope we join you in the Big Ten at some point, however unlikely it seems now.
Non-conference.
Nebraska an Missouri need to schedule some non-conference Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, etc. games and play a “series” for the Victory Bell every year. Trophies should not collect dust.

One thing
that pissed me off was MU blocking Henery’s FG. Does a blocked kick go against his stats?
It was low
The wind at the game was stronger than television showed. A 50 yarder into a fairly stiff wind had to be kept low to make it, just didn’t get by the defenders arms.
Best part of
traveling on saturday’s for the past two weeks is I haven’t had to listen to Lou Holtz!
FINALLY
Great game. Our team finally played like they should every week. If we don’t beat ourselves I think this team can beat anyone in the country. Oregon is pretty effin scary though. I watched them against UCLA and they were unreal. Im really glad Zac Lee is getting playing time. He actually runs the zone read perfectly. Against Texas he did it and now against Missouri. If he had any type of athleticism he would be ripping off HUGE runs. Anyways watching him today made me confident that if Taylor can’t go next week that he will still easily lead us to victory.
This team can
hang with anyone in the country!!!!!!!!!!
Matthew 11:28-30

Knock off two
unbeatings in two weeks??? LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol
Your just too jacked up to worry about spelling
Kick off
Okay does anyone know the situation that we kicked off to start and after half? No one I know seems to have an answer for that?
I think
its because BO chose which side he wanted because of the wind in both halves. Thats the only explanation that there can be
Yeah the captains screwed up.
When asked after the coin toss whether they wanted to receive, kick, or defer, the captain accidentally said “kick” which means they would have to kick off at both starts. You always, always say “defer.”

They're already talking about us losing to ISU
and A&M over at the Mizzou site. Must suck to be them right now. GO BIG RED!
Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.
Eh I'm worried about it
I’m most worried about the ISU and CU games for some reason. We’ll roll A&M
"My hardest job is to convince the people of Nebraska that 10-1 is not a losing season." - Tom Osborne
CU
Always scares me. Then again I grew up less than 3 hours away from them. The first game I got my husband to watch was the year they would have been our 6th win
Yeah
Jerrod Johnson is a turnover machine at A&M. Him throwing into our nasty secondary is going to be fun to watch.
Lots of injuries.
Martinez, Denard, Evans. I want to hear positive updates for those guys.

You know what's cool?
We now know, after these last two games, we can win on the ground and through the air.
Yep
2 days in New Jersey, 3 days in NYC and 4 lovely stress free days in Niagara Falls Canada. My first vacation in 18 months
Oregon up 8-3
Yep, they went for a 2-pt. conversion…in the first Q.
Lol
Like I said in my earlier post. Pretty unreal offense. Turn on ABC if you want to see an entertaining offense
In between sets at Mizzou volleyball, just I wanted to stop by...
… and say that I won’t miss you guys on Sunday through Friday, but I really will miss our two teams playing yearly. Here’s to hoping the Mizzou/Nebraska series is only temporarily delayed.
Congrats to y’all today.

Great game
This was the win I was waiting for. The one where it’s evident that Bo is getting the guys fine tuned for late season play.
Also, this was a nice change from the way we’ve been plaing at home. It seemed like we truly had the home-field advantage today. And I always love seeing Gabbert run for his life.
"Not the victory but the action; Not the goal but the game;
In the deed the glory"
GO BIG RED!
I would like seeing Gabbert run for his life better
if we could actually catch him before he gains 20 yards. The main frustration I had with this game was watching the slowest QB in football history outrace and evade our players.

Six sacks...
which begs the question: How big of a fuckin egg did we lay against Texas? >:(
Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.
Ditto
F Kiffin. Why the hell did USC take him? Alright you sucked on the Raiders and you sucked at Tennessee and your dad is half the reason you ever had any success at Tenn. So we will hire your shady ass!.
Doubt anyone needs a breather from football,
but if you do, there’s volleyball on NET. Neb vs Iowa state.
Congratulations on the win
The first quarter was one of the most perfect quarters I ever seen in college football.
Good luck in the Big 10 next year, but I hope you won’t mind if I root for you to lose 1 or 2 more games the rest of the year. :P
We
could have scored on our last drive if that makes you feel any better
Well
we need people to start talking about us like that if we want to get to the top of those rankings
Great article.
And astounding that Helu had 306 of our 327 rushing yards. My lord, the Texas loss hurts so much!
The way this team is playing
can’t see it happening,,,, i hope!!!

NU 25 ISU 19. Ace by Delano ended the set.
Yeah
They are scary but our defense probably matches up best against them than any team in the nation. We play a ton of DBs and they are all amazing. Dennards back up was fin awesome. Lavonte David is a speedster too.
Biggest pet peeve in CFB now...
The scrutiny on helmet to helmet hits. Those clown announcers made me want to punch the wall every time they talked about it.
Huge concern
but let them play ball without the frantic concern.

Low and slow
2 1/2 hours is all you need for the wings!!!
Matthew 11:28-30

Had to be lw and slow.
He put them on before the game, I believe, and they wern’t done at half. I pay attention to his culinery endeavors.
Got that right!
And yes, we’ll all bring our own beverages…Considering the drinking habit of CornNation, I wouldn’t want to bankrupt you!

Funny.....
That’s exactly what the Mizzou were convinced of after the first quarter.
How in the world did we lose to UT?
I know that Missouri is saying the same thing about the game today, but if we wouldn’t have lost that we would have had a chance to have a very special season. I know we control our own destiny to get to a BCS bowl, but that loss is just very difficult to understand.

They get the blue-chippers, but maybe the clash of all those over-inflated egos is a bad thing.
They're finding their way a little bit. Will be a great team again next year.

Nebraska’s win, combined with its win last week against No. 17 Oklahoma State, marked the first time the Huskers have defeated top-20 opponents in back-to-back games since defeating No. 12 Texas and No. 6 Tennessee in the final two games of the 1999 season.

I was there
It was amazing. The crowd was amazing. The 1st quarter was more amazing. I yelled at the top of my lounges every single play Missouri had the ball, and I really think that the crowd was a big reason Gabbert had to use all 3 timeouts in the 3rd quarter. I am very confident that this team will win the rest of their games…and I certainly hope they do. This was such a great game to be a part of. When Roy Helu Jr. broke that 3rd long touchdown run I just couldn’t believe it happened. Even now I can’t believe what happened. We just saw our Huskers break a horrible streak of losing to top 10 teams, and a streak of playing flat at home. We also just witnessed the single greatest rushing performance in the history of Nebraska football…even if Taylor Martinez breaks it someday, I will still always remember watching Roy Helu Jr. rush for 307 yards in the last game for the victory bell against our Big 12 North rival, Missouri!!!
GBR
I really hope we win out, win the Big 12, and make 2010 a season that we will always remember…that will make this already awesome Missouri game even more special.
So jealous,Billgrip
that you were there, and not me. The crowd sounded fantastic. And be happy you didn’t have to listen to Ed Cunningham for a second straight game. I swear, if That announcing team does another one of our games this year, I’m muting it and listening to the radio.

If only because a picture of an athlete’s thigh is quite appealing. If you’re talking about viewing a big ugly purple bruise, I would find that highly interesting, also.

Not sure how familiar you are with the area.
But it is the street that divides the city of Papillion and the city of LaVista. 84th street is the main street that runs north to south and there are a few strip malls in that area. I was born and raised here so I know it like the back of my hand. Any directions/info let me know.

Definitely
I’d say a road win over a top 15 team and a home win over a top 10 team on back to back weeks says we’re back way more than our win over Arizona in the Holiday bowl. Are we here to stay? I’d say we need a couple more seasons of success to declare that.

What's better vs. Mizzou?
Last year’s 4th quarter comeback in the rain or this year’s 1st quarter beat-down at Memorial?
Stole this from the RMN post game thread..
Take q4 of last year plus q1 of this year and we outscored them 51-0!!!
idk
That 4th quarter comeback was pretty epic. Half of husker nation had quit watching at that point and the rest of us were about to quit watching. Then in 3 minutes the game completely changed from shutout loss to convincing win

I mean the last time we were really just dominated and completely out of a game was against OU in 08…ever since then though, we’ve had chances to win every game we’ve lost. Maybe Texas Tech last year was a bit of a beatdown I guess.
