It was a great real-time hit, it as a tad high but definitely not flagrant. Looked like he was trying to lead with his pads, unfortunately his head is on top of them. The only thing I wish Martin would have done differently is get up and go look for another defender to block. IMO, they took the announcers comments into account while judging the hit. They probably also saw him on the sidelines laughing and made the assumption that he was laughing about the hit.
