Oklahoma State's Justin Blackmon arrested for DUI
You're leading the NCAA in receiving yardage and touchdown receptions. Your NFL stock is going up by the game.
What do you do? The dumbest thing possible... well, until you realize that at least he wasn't with another man's wife or girlfriend with her panties on his lap.
Ok, the second dumbest thing possible.... unless that was throwing a laptop out a window while being interviewed by the police...
Hyperbole aside, then, I guess this was just plain stupid.

Wow..
is all I can say. Except, damn you! Couldn’t you have done this last week and saved us 150+ receiving yards and two TDs against our D?

Jeez.
I was really starting to become a Blackmon fan, but drunk driving really gets me riled up. (And to anyone who might want to accuse me of hypocrisy: No, I don’t like Niles Paul either, for the same reason.)
Make better choices, dude.
man this sucks
I was really looking forward to watching him the rest of the way, I’m sure this will take some of the luster off of his season thus far..
It's not quite so bad.
He wasn’t drunk, but alcohol was detected, and he’s under 21. In Texas that mean’s suspicion of DUI if the cop can smell alcohol He faces a $375 fine, and thats it. Now, it doesn’t excuse going 92 in a 60, but at least he wasn’t sloshed. Or, Texas has the most relaxed DUI rules in the world.

Relative to killing someone, no
But a 3000lb car going 92mph in a 60 is inexcusable, add in alcohol of any proportion and wow.. The kid needs to be suspended a couple of games at least. Let’s see if Gundy will be a man and do right by the kid- teach him to be a man.
With all this agent talk swirling, is it too naive to think he was at the game just for the game?

I never said it excused it.
Drinking and driving is dangerous and illegal. But having a drink or two is not the same as having 10. And nobody knows what his BAC was. He’s a minor, so he’s in trouble either way, but nobody gets a DUI for a 0.02. Again it doesn’t excuse it, but nobody knows the charge yet.

If the cop smelled alcohol
I can guarantee you his BAC was well more than .02.

I wa making a point, not saying that's what I thought his BAC was

Lots of people
forgetting about that whole 92 in a 60 thing. That’s a pretty large exaggerating factor in the eyes of the court. Potential jail time for both.

I posted this elsewhere,
About an hour ago, the Boston Globe announced that Taariq Allen, 6’3 senior WR/DE from Rivers HS, will play for Nebraska next year. He was an All-New England selection.
I can't be the only one
who thought of Lawrence Phillips when this broke, can I?

Dumb dumb dumb dumb
That said, I hope Gundy is opportunistically lenient. I wanna see this guy destroy OU and UT.
