College Football Ranking: BlogPoll Top 25 Week 9 Draft Ballot - Baylor Gets Ranked Mostly Because Texas Sucks
Hey, the Baylor Bears are leading the Big 12 South! That deserves a ranking, doesn't it? Of course! Granted, they have yet to play Oklahoma, or Oklahoma State, (or Texas, but at this point the Longhorns have become irrelevant), but they're bowl eligible for the first time since 1995.
Missouri is one the biggest surprises of the season, and with Iowa State's upset over Texas, and Mizzou's upset of Oklahoma and Nebraska's defeat of Oklahoma State - so is the tilt of power to the Big 12 North.
Michigan State is another huge surprise. They fell behind 17-0 midway through the second quarter and trailed 24-14 early in the fourth quarter, then scored 21 points in the fourth quarter to win 35-27. That shows a resilience that Sparty hasn't shown in quite some time.
It's a huge week for Husker fans. Huge.
As always, feedback required.

I think
You have a much stronger grip on reality than the AP or Coaches’ poll voters. Not much to quibble with.
Meh...
Yeah I don’t like the fact that Nebraska is ranked 14th in the AP and the BCS, especially after a road win against an undefeated top 15 team. But at the same time I look at the teams that are above them and there are quite a bit of really good one loss teams. In my opinion Nebraska could be as high as 9th or 10th, and could be as low as 14th-15th is about the lowest they should be. If friggen’ Texas hadn’t lost to Iowa State and was still in the top 20, then I bet Nebraska’s rank would be a little better. And K-State’s loss didn’t help either. Washington also lost this past week…but Western Kentucky finally won!!!!
We need to start rooting for these teams that we’ve already played, like Washington and K-State to get some nice wins later in the season to help our overall strength of schedule with the computers. The computers hate us right now.
But a win over the Tigers this week will definitely put us back into the top 10.
Texas fan here again
Any leftover alcohol from last week that you guys aren’t going to use? Maybe something in high enough proof to light myself on fire?
What do we do if somehow Colt McCoy ends up on an NFL team starting against Vince Young?
LA
For Oregon/USC.
