A loyal Husker alum in Houston TX bet a coworker (and UT alum) that the person from the losing school in last Saturday's UT-UNL game would have to eat a bar of soap the following day. If not, he was subject to a $200 penalty, wearing the opposing school's jersey every Saturday for the rest of the football season, and would be slapped once (as hard as possible, without notice) by the winner at any point in the future ("slapbet").

After the disappointing loss, Ben manned up and fulfilled his obligations, with a glass of beer by his side to soak up the sorrow.
