Nebraska Football Goes Wildcat Crazy!

We all hear ESPN, CBS & NBC football commentators talking about the Wildcat offense! I say, the Huskers need to go Wildcat Crazy! Coach Pelini, add Cody Green to the mix in the Wildcat Formation! When you look at the Dolphins, they use running backs to run their Wildcat! The Huskers can do much better. Cody and Zach can run and pass! The Buzz On? You tell me what defense in the country could stop that potent attack?

I won’t say that the wildcat is gimmicky because I hate that word. It is somewhat unconventional to be sure. The main problem that I have with the wildcat is that while yes you can throw out of it (theoretically) nobody does. Also it puts the quarterback in a vulnerable situation where they could be hurt.
Then again maybe this is the spark that our offense needs to make us more of a threat. So I guess I’m not against it; just hesitant that it might come back to bite us.
