Around SBN: The cost of firing vs. the cost of retaining head coaches

Cornflakes does not fear the VaTech offense.

Opponents' schemes don't shake Hokies' Taylor
Tyrod Taylor, experienced, mobile quarterback, can see the field quicker, blah blah blah, scary mobile quarterback, threat to run at any time, blah blah blah, yada yada. Tell me - as a Husker fan, do you fear Virginia Tech's offense? - CB

HuskerExtra.com - Recruiting buzz: Playing freshman may help in recruiting- Football
* Who’s next?: The Husker recruiting class has eight names on it. Who might be next to commit? Two players to keep a close watch on are wide receiver Curtis Carter (Stonewall, La.) and junior college tight end Chase Harper (Corsicana, Texas).

Nebraska is a Better Team Statistically in 2009 Going Into the Virginia Tech Game - Gobbler Country
The Huskers lost a lot of talent from last year's team, but are a better team statistically.

Buffs To Wear Throwback Jerseys vs. Wyoming - CUBuffs.com
BRN gets to the bottom of this-
Everybody Likes Throwback Uniforms, I Guess - Nebraska Football
It wouldn't be that an athletic department desperate for money and craving more fan support is hawking tickets and new gear at its fans by prostituting its players (and field?) with a nice game of dress up. Nah, never.

AJ is funny

Kinda funny that he forgot to mention the HB pass to beat a top 20 team was the BCS #1, AP and Coaches #2, and defending National Champion… fishing indeed.

Tyrod Taylor

The only thing that would scare me about VT’s offense was if NU’s defense had shown no ability to keep containment in their first two games. I think the defense is fully capable of keeping a lid on VT’s run game as long as the linebackers play big Saturday.

Hell, even if Taylor gets around the corner, Suh will run him down anyway!

Oh yeah

They are going to try and run, run and run some more.

I’d be more than happy if NU forced Tech to beat us with Taylor’s arm.

You can't possibly be a scientist if you mind people thinking that you're a fool.
