Where Are You Watching the Husker Pay Per View Games?
Four days away from the start of the 2009 Husker football season and if you haven't made plans as to where you're watching the game, you'd better start. Like last season, a number of the games are on Pay Per View at $29.95 apiece. This isn't a bad choice IF you're in Nebraska, or in select places in Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas or Iowa.
However, if you're not in one of those states, you'd better have a satellite dish provider, a friend that does, or be close to a Husker watch party. If you're not in one of those situations, what are you going to do?
Consider this the thread to ask about pay per view information, finding watch sites, other Husker fans or how to find a place to watch the games. If nothing else, we can all help each other. Feel free to post resources, or suggestions of how we can do a better job of assisting Husker fans throughout the world.
BTW - If you vote that you're desperate, please tell us why in the comments section.

I just upgraded my cable
to be able to buy the game.
Though I may go to the watch party.

I actually won all three PPV games through Cox’s Twitter Giveaway! Perfect for that new 46" LCD TV that arrived last week! :D

Lake Okoboji
If anyone is vactioning in the Lake Okoboji/Spencer/Arnold’s Park, IA area Fillenwarth Beach Motel (87 Lakeshore Drive Arnolds Park, IA)will have the game on via satellite. It’s a smaller venue but it’ll work in a pinch plus they got a great bar scene nearby too.

If in NYC during a game
I’m told the watch site is The Irish Rogue in Manhattan, which is where the New York Alumni go to watch the game. I’ll be in Brooklyn for the Va Tech game this year, but I won’t be at the Rogue. I’ll be at my friends’ place helping to take care of my 9 month old twin nephews. But I, and they, will be in our red Husker gear watching on ESPN2.

Thanks!
Do you know if this will be solely a part of ESPN Gameplan or available as a single PPV?

Single PPV
I do not think it is part of Gameplan. Gameplan only covers out of coverage games, so if you wanted to watch a B12 regional game on ABC and you are in the Pac 10 region.

that's true
It’s NOT part of Gameplan. PPV games are only for out of region games.

Curious??
Called DirecTV and they do not have the Huskers on their PPV schedule for that channel. Where do you see it online?

from Huskers.com
AT&T U-Verse – Channel 104, order on screen, available nationally
DirecTV – Channel 787, order on screen or call 1-800-DirecTV, available nationally
Dish Network – Channel 465, order on screen, available nationally
I’ll show up – always has…. well, I have dish network, but the I think the two satellite providers have been pretty comparable.

Beyond Golf Sports & Spirits
You can watch all the Husker PPV games at Beyond Golf. They are right across the street from Cabela’s behind the new Runza and Burger King. They have the games on three 15 feet screens plus lots of other big screens. Check it out! Their website is beyondgolfomaha dot com
