At Saturday's dedication festivities for Colorado National Golf Club -- the new home for CU's golf teams -- parked on the side of the putting green was a range-ball picking vehicle colored red and white, with a Nebraska football helmet on the roof and an "N" emblazoned on the front.
Keep in mind that range-ball pickers are often the target of people hitting balls on the practice range, and what better target for a CU fan than a symbol of the NU football team, long a dreaded nemesis of the Buffs.
And guess whose idea it was to decorate this bull's-eye of sorts with Husker symbols? None other than CU football coach Dan Hawkins, who attended Saturday's function.

Dan Hawkins, what a card. I'm wondering if he darned near had a stroke coming up with this one.

Any word if the CU golfers miss
the ranger picker as often as their QBs miss their WRs?
I think I’ll just watch this again real quick-

Ahhhh that feels better.

Did that hurt, Cody Hawkins? That looked awfully painful when Suh kicked you in the face.
Hey, Smails!! $500 bucks says you slice into the woods..
Tom Shatel noted in this morning’s Omaha World-Herald that these are the same Buffs fans that keep saying Husker fans need to get a life. It’s a classic mathematical formula I call Pot+Kettle=Black.
“Gambling is illegal at Bushwood, sir! And I NEVER slice…”
Is it me
or does Dan Hawkins always look like he is cross eyed.
