Cody Glenn the first Husker to go
I was a little suprised to see Cody be the first Husker drafted in this years NFL draft, but near as suprised as I was to Matt Slauson being picked ahead of his linemate Lydon Murtha--I was figuring Lydon had a really decent chance on being picked high due to the premium the NFL teams were putting on tackles--especially on the right side--a position that Lydon naturally plays--but alas he ended up go to the Lions--in which he'll be playing along side former Huskers Dominic Riola and Josh Bullocks--three picks ahead of my beloved Vikings--Cody will be playing with the Redskins and Matt will be a Jet--the rest of the guys--will be signing free agent offers in the next few days--so Ill try to keep you up to date as best I can of whats going on with this class--good luck guys!!!

even
more surprising when you consider Glenn played only a single season at linebacker. Not even a full season, due to suspension.
