Cornhuskers' Junior Day Attendees
While the 2009 class is officially signed, sealed, and delivered; the recruiting season is never really over.
This Saturday, Nebraska will host it's first "Junior Day". Some of the better players in the class of 2010 will be visiting Lincoln, so that the coaches can check out the players they'll be recruiting over the next year.
It's also a way for the recruits to see the school without usual an "official visit" so it's a bonus day for everybody.

This list is far from the only players that NU is looking at. Most of them may not even get official offers from the Cornhuskers. But a few of the guys might be the kind of diamonds in the rough that a program like Nebraska needs to thrive on.

Of the guys coming in on Saturday....
Keeston Terry is the big get. He’s already ranked as a four star who Kansas and Kansas State want very badly

265 pounds! One big quarterback! Probably a DT prospect?
As a QB his stats are 246 yards rushing and 4 tds and 535 yards passing and 3 tds and 2 ints.

A number of DT recruits,
that’s not surprising. I’ve noticed that some of the DT recruits are around 250-260 lb range. Seems small to me, but I guess they beef them up to 280 or so. That seems kind of small too, but looks like BO prefers ‘lean and mean’ on his defensive lines, except for a guy like Suh who is extremely athletic for a 300 pounder.

I Hope Keeston
doesn’t fall for the MU/KU thing and sees the light and comes to NE. Pinkel, Mangino, or BO: the right choice is obvious.

Stephen Hopkins
Looks like another bruiser type guy, ala Quentin Castille. 220 lbs, could beef up more, 4.6 40, just like Q. Some high profile schools are on his interest list:
