With only about 24 hours left before a Board of Regents meeting was scheduled to discuss Tech's head football coach, Mike Leach and Tech Chancellor Kent Hance sat down and reached a compromise on a five year contract.  Of course, both sides gave up things they wanted, and both sides lost a lot of dignity.  We've kind of come to expect that from Mike Leach, whether it's doing the weather

or pirates

or dating.

So this storyline is over, but you can pretty much count on a great follow-up down in Lubbock at some time in the future.
