Today, OU is "on", not great, just "on"...

but you can tell they are probably the 2nd best team in the conference. Seriously, outside of line play, they make our defense look slow. I am not sure any of our back seven would start for them. This season, just making mistakes topedeoed the offense and defense, luckily the huskers got them when they could.

I've missed the talking heads today.

Is anyone talking about the BCS crap and mentioning what might happen if Nebraska beats Texas? Everything I heard this morning on sports radio in the car was about OSU and the Fiesta Bowl. That’s not happening now. But, it seems a forgone conclusion that UT will play in the national title game with all of the “experts.” Any thoughts expressed about a Big Red upset?

I really like Todd Reesing.

He is a gamer and certainly was responsible for a large number of KU’s wins over the past few years. Just another one of the reasons why college football is so great. Overlooked by all the big boys in Texas and he puts together a real good career.

It could be a replay of KSU after Snyder retired.

Mangino is not Snyder, but KU fans are now expecting to win and with new facilities, expectations are high. Without those studs, it may be an interesting ride for the next guy. My hope is it is not Turner Gill. I do not want to root against him!

Yeah, I think he finishes at CU. It’ll be ironic that he and his dad leave campus the same year.

Anyway, to elaborate on what I said earlier;

Jake Locker looks like he’ll leave Washington, Reesing, Gregory, McCoy, and Robinson are all graduating, too… Texas also loses Shipley and 3/5 of their o-line. OSU will have virtually emptied their cupboards after this year, also. Alexander and Washington are gone from Mizzou. Sharp, Meier and Briscoe are also all gone from KU. Next year looks like it may shape up well for NU.

don’t think it was huge…. but remember, he went to two BCS bowls in his first two years with Willingham’s recruits. Brady Quinn at QB, Jeff Sarmudja (sp?) at receiver.

Notre Dame doesn’t hve to split BCS money with a conference, so that was $17-18M all to theirselves. So they gave him a 10-year or more contract, because they were afraid that NFL teams wanted him back.

Dumbasses. Now it costs them.

USC doing their best to extract revenge on UCLA from their Stanford hatred. Throwing deep TD passes with a minute left in the game. UCLA players pissed. USC players jumping up and down on their sideline and the field. Game stopped for about 5 minutes to clear both teams off the field before they started throwing punches.
