What do you expect with Freshman?
Watson obviously called safe throws for Green to get him comfortable. And they did take a few shots down the field as well. The O-Line continues to be average at best, and tends to take stupid penalties that kill drives. Tray maybe hurt so that puts NU at the 5th string RB? Ward or Mendoza. You’d think NU could get a bluechiipper to come in for next year. You can almost guarantee playing time.

I always have hope for the Huskers. Love them with a passion. My wife threatens to leave the house during the games. Alot of screaming going on. Kids think im crazy. But it’s the Huskers!!!

i mean, some teams just get that karma. that’s the beauty of it. right now, they’ve got this mental thing where they believe they can win, and that’s it.

There’s something not quite right with the team as a whole. Defense kicks butt, offense sucks. I know it takes time to re-establish a great team, so we should not get too worked up because this project is gonna take some time before it all comes together. I totally agree it’s going in the right direction, but i , like alot of people, long for the days of the 94,95, 97 Huskers. We just have to be patient.
