What do you expect with Freshman?
Watson obviously called safe throws for Green to get him comfortable. And they did take a few shots down the field as well. The O-Line continues to be average at best, and tends to take stupid penalties that kill drives. Tray maybe hurt so that puts NU at the 5th string RB? Ward or Mendoza. You’d think NU could get a bluechiipper to come in for next year. You can almost guarantee playing time.

There’s something not quite right with the team as a whole. Defense kicks butt, offense sucks. I know it takes time to re-establish a great team, so we should not get too worked up because this project is gonna take some time before it all comes together. I totally agree it’s going in the right direction, but i , like alot of people, long for the days of the 94,95, 97 Huskers. We just have to be patient.

to totally agree. My wife puts up with football like i put up with anything she wants to do. She knows from August to February, im in the zone and she can’t understand the passion for the game. I’m so glad i’m not alone. I finally found a home!!!!
