Beer dilemma
The parents are visiting and the old man picked up the beer. A sampler pack from Stevens Point and a six of Leinies. I am concerned! Being an anti-Hawkeye, I have to see a decisive Husker victory today! Living in Big 10 coverage area I am forced to watch on ESPN 360 with bifocals.

But the offense needs some kind of major re-envisioning. Something option-based that utilizes Green’s running ability. It’s clear that whatever they’re doing now is a disaster.
I know the OL is awful, and Green won’t change that, but I think we should see what he’s got and get him some experience. They wouldn’t have to bench Lee entirely, either.

I just don't agree that anything has changed at all as far as "starting over"
I had this game down as a probable loss, and still thought we’d win the North, because Kansas and Missouri actually have a tougher South division schedule than we do.
If we can beat Kansas, we win the North.

Long Day Monday
Well, I will go to work Monday and have to listen to all the crap coming from Hawkeye fans. My “the Big Ten” is a D-II conference doesn’t hold much water any more. It sucks, but hopefully the Huskers will get a crack at the bastards in a bowl game. Though they look like BCS bound.

I don't know about smooth as glass
but as I said earlier, it’s clear that Lee is not a play maker, and the jury is still out as far as Green.
If Watson is going to run an offense that ignores our best offensive player in Helu, then you need to give Green a shot as he could surprise and turn into a playmaker

He looks confident, moves well in the pocket, and has a strong arm.

Winning the north is great and everything...
and a good goal. But I am so sick of going 1-2 or 0-3 vs. the south. It is really hard to think of them as a nationally respected team unless they can beat big 12 souh teams.

baby steps
Clearly we don’t have a quarterback that can compete with the Big 12 South teams yet.
This year we take solace in going to the Big 12 Championship game, and hopefully next year, with a sophomore Green who has seen good playing time, we challenge for the title
