Huskers' Ndamukong Suh - Lombardi Award Finalist
Earlier today, the Rotary Club of Houston announced the Lombardi Award Finalists. Since 1970, the Lombardi Award has been presented to college football's top lineman (offense or defense).

OK, got the skinny
From the official award criteria:
“*Be a down lineman, end-to-end, either on offense or defense, setting up no farther than 10 yards to the left or right of the ball at the time of snap.
*Be a linebacker on defense, setting up no farther than five yards deep from the line of scrimmage.”
Weird. I never knew that. The last LB to win was A.J. Hawk in 2005 (missed that one, obviously). Before that was Dat Nguyen in 1998. Others: Marvin Jones (‘91), Percy Snow (’89), Chris Spielman (‘87), Cornelius Bennet (’86).
