Suh for Heisman

Ok, it's about time to get serious about this guy. Schools around the country would be promoting Suh big time at this point in the season, maybe we should too?

Star-divide

If a grass-roots movement exists in college football, I can't think of a better school to pull that off than the University of Nebraska. If Suh played for Notre Dame, USC, Florida, Texas, OU, Miami, Ohio State, or Michigan,....he would be at the top of the list. With Tebow and Bradford missing games, and the rest of the pack playing inconsistent football, the only big name left with a real shot is Colt McCoy. But what happens if McCoy and Suh both rack up huge numbers en route to a showdown for the Big 12, and during that game Suh eats the Texas QB for lunch while recording another Colorado-type interception? It could very well happen, and we need to be there for him if and when it does. The media is key, so start writing the bloggers and sportswriters. The greatest fans in the game should be able to catch the media's attention, and drive it all the way to a Heisman trophy.

Suh deserves it if he keeps playing like he has. There isn't a defensive player out there who can compare with Suh, and there isn't an offensive player who can hold him.

(Husker Mike adding this:  I'm promoting this to the front page so more of you see this poll question.  What has to be done to keep the "Suh for Heisman" campaign rolling?)

Poll
What does Ndamakong Suh have to do to win the Heisman?
Play well consistently, and at least get the Huskers to the Big 12 title game. The media will do the rest.

Suh needs to dominate individual stats, but the Husker record is not that important.

He needs to dominate individually, while the Huskers need to win the conference outright.

Suh has no chance regardless of what he or the team does, after all...he doesn't play for the Fighting Irish.
