Diaz officially a Husker
In an additional bit of good news with today's big win over Kansas State, 6-11 Jorge Diaz has officially been admitted to the University of Nebraska. He will be eligible to play immediately, though it is unclear if he will, with less than half the season remaining.

good point
we’re already three games into Big 12 play.
Doc has already shown a tendency towards the future. If Diaz redshirts, it’d be a definite sign that Sadler is expecting to be around for a while, meaning he’ll stay and Osborne will give him time.

Seems like Doc
is getting the most outta what he has. It’s gonna take time, but it’s doubtful NE will become a regualr contender for the Big 12 CC. But who knows?

I would be happy
just to finish on the upper half of the conference most years, with some shots at a conference title.
Still, we at least have the right coach.

What happened to KU
this year? Didn’t they win it all last year?

We could use the offensive boost inside
but is it worth burning a year of eligiblity for 1/2 a season. Glad I don’t have to make that decision I bet he sits down with Tom and they’ll decide what is best for the program. Wait or win now? Tough choice.

I say play him
Do we honestly expect him to stay five years? Who does that in college basketball anymore?

the guys
who aren’t good enough for the NBA.
I know little about the guy. Is he NBA caliber? European pro caliber?
The other side of the coin is – if he was going to redshirt this season, would he have gone to all the trouble of getting on campus, getting enrolled, and getting on the team unless he was going to play?
