A number of ranked teams didn't play this week - USC, UCLA, LSU. I'm dropping Ohio State for a lackluster performance over Frank Solich's Ohio Bobcats. I'm dropping West Virginia altogether because they really really sucked and I don't care how good East Carolina may be, when you don't score a touchdown, you suck.
Mizzou stays where they are because the sun is revolving around them right now, even if that's not how it really works.
Wisconsin moves up not because they're geat but because Texas Tech struggled more than I expected and Texas gave up a massive amount of yards to UTEP, meaning that their defense still hasn't figured it out.
Should I be ranking Wake Forest? Should Oklahoma State move up because the relatively sucky team they played (Houston) wasn't a really sucky team but one of the better sucky team?
Kyle at Dawgsports and Fulmer's Belly are ranking Nebraska, Big Red Network is ranking us homerifically, but we don't deserve it. Look at the teams listed up there at 20-25 and tell me that Nebraska could beat them. Right now I don't beleive it because we haven't shown it. Keep improving, keep winning.
