Blogpoll - 2008 College Football Rankings - Week Five
From the blogpoll master, Brian Cook at mgoblog:
Starting Sept. 29th, the Blogpoll will be listed on a really well-known site as BlogPoll Top 25 and found in its own dedicated area on that site, listed right alongside the AP and Coaches. The weekly BlogPoll results will appear there first.

So, it's getting serious, which means I want all y'all to get more serious about the feedback you give me. This is your chance to have input into the process, so don't take it lightly.
A bit of arrogance perhaps. It used to be that you never saw much movement in the AP Poll. Now you do. Is that because of the influence of the blogpoll? I'd like to think it is. Why are the AP and coaches polls more credible than what we do as bloggers? At the least, we crave input, they don't. We reach out to you. They don't. Isn't the collective mind of fans better equiped to put a poll together than either of those parties? I think so.
This week, I've hammered the teams that have lost. USC, Georgia, Wisconsin and Florida. Why? Because they ALL lost badly.
My poll probably reflects more Big 12 homerism than it needs to, but again, feedback is necessary.

the first time this season I pretty much agree with your poll. The only exception is that I would have dropped Clemson also. Probably would have put Wake Forest at 25 and dropped Clemson. Or maybe dropped bothe and added Maryland. It looks pretty good other then that.
6 Big XII teams in the top 11
I like it! I don’t agree, but I like it, nonetheless.
As for the teams you hammered, I can’t say that any of them didn’t deserve it and assuming your basing if off what you’ve seen to this point, it’s defensible. But do you really think that on a neutral field, Oklahoma State could beat Georgia or USC?
