A Sea of Red

I finally got around to picking up a copy of "A Sea of Red" 2008 football annual this weekend.  I'm only a couple of stories into it, but...whoa!  Congratulations to Jon and everyone else who was involved in putting this together, it is a testament to the NU bloggers and will be a keepsake of mine for years to come.  Thanks to Maple Street Press for including Nebraska in their lineup this year and for making such a high quality publication available to Husker fans (without advertising, no less...how great is that?!)  I can't wait to find the time to get into the rest of the articles...the book will be sitting right by my seat at the kitchen table until I can digest the rest.  My wife might get perturbed by the absence of conversation during mealtimes, but I guess she'll have to get used to it!

Thanks again for your collective commitment to providing NU news and information from the fans' perspective.  I don't take the opportunity to mention my appreciation of the dedicated work of NU bloggers often enough, so I just wanted to take this occasion to do so.
