Husker Senior Center Aleks Maric was named to the AP's 1st Team All-Big XII team yesterday.  He's the first Husker in 9 years to be 1st team all-conference (last was Venson Hamilton in 1999), and only the third in the Big XII era.  Maric was named to the Big XII coaches' 2nd Team.

Steve Harley and Ade Dagunduro, both Juco transfers, were named to the AP's all-newcomer team.
