great

first half for the Husker, outplaying the Aggies at College Station.

We're ahead 32-25, shooting 60% from the field. The key is holding that lead, we've lost games because of the start of the second half.

I missed most of the first half...

...but we need a "K-State" second half, not an "I-State" second half...

tarps

are out on the field at the Sunken Diamond, with players in the dug outs.

the game is in the bottom of the third, 0-0. Nebraska has committed two errors, Stanford one, but other than that neither team has got a hit yet.

Maric

is playing weird. constantly passing the ball instead of taking shots.

just made a nice jump hook though. we're on a 9-2 run, 2 FT's for the Aggies.

46-38.

Cookie took a couple of big hits there...

...and I hope it's not a separation on that shoulder...

Dagundoro

runs over Jones, picks up a blocking foul on Jones, and Jones goes limping off the court.

Nebraska still shooting 56%.

49-46 Huskers, 6:25

Cookie

Miller gets an outlet pass and gets blasted by Carter going up for a lay up.

Fourth foul on Carter. Milller looks like that hurt a little. Carter has to come out.

Good for us, Cookie at the line. Where's the joke now?

Deathly quiet at A&M...

Banged his shoulder right into the Aggie player. Still on the floor.

He hasn't moved much since going down.

Big Three by Sek...

..then a turnover, then Davis gets a steal, and going for the uncontested layup, his leg buckles.  That looks almost as ugly as Cookie Miller's injury...

oh

yeah, that does look bad.

wonder if he hit some water on the floor.

yeah... you're ahead of me :)

Strowbridge hits 1...4 pt lead...

2 possession game, and A&M turns it over with 25 seconds left.  Huskers in control!  Hit those foul shots!

Carter out

60-57 Nebraska, Strowbrdige on the line.

This would be a nice one to hold onto..

65-59 Win

How about that one?  Great win.  But you really have to worry about Cookie Miller.

by Husker Mike on Feb 23, 2008 5:11 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

yeah

he's been playing very well.... like they said, he's playing above his freshman level.

nice progress by Sadler with this season, after I'd certainly left them for dead.

two wins over ranked teams.

Three wins over ranked teams this season...

Two this week; one on the road no less.  I think it all comes down to how badly Cookie Miller is injured.

Then blipping over to Kansas-Okie State...

...the Jayhawks lose in Stillwater.  What a topsy turvy afternoon...
