Nebraska Baseball: Stanford Game Coverage Available on CSTV, Husker Radio Network

As the Cornhuskers open against Stanford this afternoon, you might be wondering where your best chance is for coverage.

First and foremost, remember that every Nebraska baseball game will be broadcast this season, so if you love baseball on the radio, you're covered.

Regarding television, eight games are set to be broadcast on TV, starting with the Huskers series with rival Texas, which will be shown on FSN.

But wait! There's more!

Stanford University's web site is hosted by CSTV, they are part of the All-Access package so Husker fans can watch this weekend's games through the CSTV All-Access web site. You're required to sign up, but the games against Stanford are free. Normally there is an access fee, whether per game, month, or year.

The following Nebraska opponents' sites are hosted by CSTV XXL, meaning that you have a good chance of watching many more Nebraska games online.

  • Baylor
  • Kansas
  • Missouri
  • Oklahoma
  • Texas A&M
  • Texas Tech

Be sure to check CSTV's hardware/software requirements.

Home and away baseball games will be provided by HuskersNside, which is a fee-based service through Huskers.com.

hoo-ray for baseball's return

I’m interning for an MLB team, we're putting together a fan's scouting report, emphasizing player's fielding. We’re trying to get the "wisdom of the crowds" to help inform where we send our scouts and some back end draft decisions. I don't know if any of you are familiar with Tom Tango's scouting report by the fans, but it's the same concept.

I promise I’m not some sort of obnoxious spammer. This is legit and I will be happy to provide you with more details. If you are interested, shoot me an email me at eriknmanningATgmailDOTcom.

In Omaha...

...most of the Husker baseball coverage will be over the internet.  Seems KFAB is cutting back on baseball coverage this year, and probably will only carry the conference games.  Today, they are only carrying baseball during the "SportsNightly" time slot, which means we might get the end of game 1 and the start of game 2.

Worried about Creighton fans, or what?
