Gill To Auburn?

Looks like Gill will be intererviewing at Auburn and they're running out of good choices. I hope he doesn't go there for the simple fact that Auburn doesn't deserve him.

Gill will sooner or later end up somewhere besides Buffalo, although Syracuse would appear to be a better fit for him..... well, I guess I say that because Syracuse isn't full of megalomaniacs who'll crucify someone at the drop of a hat for a mediocre season.

So what do you guys think? Think he'll move this year (I don't), and if he does - Syracuse or Auburn?

Stay

I think he should stay a little longer. He could go out on a better year than the one Buff just had.

What about Charlie's job

I know it is pure speculation but, if Notre Dame does’t win next year Weis is out. If Gill stays at Buffalo I think he would be a great candidate for that job. He understands tradition and expectations from his time at Nebraska. Plus ND will have to face the fact that a fast fix isn’t the answer to sustaining long term success. Just throwing it out there to see what you think?

an interesting

Weis has brought in some good players, he just hasn’t developed them well, ala Bill Callahan. If Weis continues to fail, Notre Dame will have to hire someone to stop the bleeding. The question is – do they go with a big name, big buck proven guy, or do they take a chance on Gill.

Syracuse, Auburn, are the only jobs of any note open this season. If Gill waits a year, there might be better choices.

Good thought, man! Interesting!

looks like

Marrone (?) is going to be the Syracuse coach. So…. that leaves Auburn.

The more I read about the Auburn situation...

…the more I think Buffalo is a better job than Auburn. Bobby Lowder reminds me of what Steve Pederson could have been with more money. Right now, I’m hoping Gill stays put and waits for a better job.
