2008 CBS Sports Blog Poll Top 25 Week 15 Ballot
Here's my final regular season blogpoll ballot.
#1 - Oklahoma. What a sad Big 12 Championship game. I stopped watching around half time, as the rest of the family complained that it was too boring and they were right. Mizzou didn't put up much of a fight.
#2 - Florida. Tebow is a special player, but with guys like Danielson drooling over him for most of the game, it's really hard to like Tebow. It got so bad, I turned the sound down.
#3 - Texas - Outside looking in. If it weren't for a few seconds and Michael Crabtree. Colt McCoy will probably lose the Heisman, Texas won't get a national title, although there's still a chance for a split if they destroy Ohio State and there's a pretty good chance of that happening.
#4 - Southern Cal - Took longer than I thought to wear down UCLA, but got it done.
#5 - Penn State - Not many people talking about the Nitts.
I dropped Alabama quite a ways considering they lost to a great team in Florida. I don't think Alabama is as good as their record indicated, even though they played pretty well against the Gators.
Ohio State as a selection in the BCS sucks. I think I'd have rather seen a Texas - Boise State match up than watch the Buckeyes get destroyed again.

Tebow as God
So you missed Danielson’s call of, I believe, Florida’s last TD a 3-yard slant route.
Too bad, God himself couldn’t have made that throw…but Tebow did. AND THEN he ran down and pumped up the kickoff team.
What a guy.

Boise got the shaft
Ohio State got yet another gift from the BCS money talks again. I hope Texas trounces them and they get a share of the title with whoever wins between the Gators and Sooners. Maybe then we can get a playoff system, college footballs selection of BCS teams and the national champions is a joke.

Its not
just the BCS its the whole bowl system. There is no thought given to the game just how many seats a certain team can fill. Hell Notre Dame could go 2-10 and get a Cotton Bowl bid just because they could fill the seats. (yes I know you have to win 6 games to get bowl eligilbe, just saying).

Your right
the whole system is flawed but the BCS is what decides where the lions share or the money (evidently the most important thing) and where national title goes. After that it is just leftovers or crumbs for the rest. Nebraska gets it share of love from the bowl committees because we travel well also. Unfortunately it always boils down to the almighty dollar.
