Around SBN: Steve McNair Dead - Former NFL QB Shot and Killed

I just know he's the runaway coach of the year and probably more than that.

I just know Buffalo played last Friday, and lost, and the headlines accurately claimed Kent State "upset" Buffalo 24-21, and I almost spit some soup. The very idea that anybody on Earth could upset Buffalo might just close down the race for coaching feat of the 21st century.

Great Article

I am a Turner Gill fan after what he has done at Buffalo not many aren’t. I hope he gets a shot at a BCS school. I wonder how many schools are giving him consideration to lead their teams? I have heard Syracuse but that is about it. Does anybody else have any info? Has he interviewed anywhere?

I too

am a Gill fan. Was for him to be the next coach the last two times we needed one. Was for him ahead of Bo. Dont get me wrong I am very happy with Bo and he is doing great in my book but really thought we should have made the offer to Gill.

Happy with either

I also am thrilled with Pelini just to bring the defense back to respectability was a great job in itself. I think if Gill would have had a couple more years under his belt Osborne would have pulled the trigger looks like either move would have been successful (a win win situation for Dr. Tom). But, I believe Pelini was the right man at the right time our defense was in shambles. It is nice to know though if Pelini decides to move on Turner just as well be our “head coach in waiting”. What a great security blanket!!!!
