Nebraska - Kansas State To Be Shown Pay Per View

I know this comes as shock to every Husker fan, next week's game at Manhattan will be shown on pay per view at a cost of $29.95. The game will start at 2:30 PM Central.

My recommendation is that it's time to find out how good an announcer Greg Sharpe is. I'm tired of paying for these things. It's not my patriotic duty to feed the networks.

2. Have Sirius (or XM?) Radio outside of the car

Another PPV? I am aggravated beyond mention. I have always thought that the Huskers should be like ND…always on TV. I can’t think of another school (besides ND – and that is changing) that has a more devoted following and deserves to see the team on TV every week WITHOUT PAYING MORE FOR IT!

I know complaining doesn’t help, but I don’t know what else to do to vent this frustration.

I like Sharpe on the call

He’s done a good job.

I’ll get a fan shot or post or whatever about Manhattan later this week. I’ve had to live down here long enough I might as well share what I have learned.

If you are rolling to Manhattan, you should plan on tailgating. They have lots of spots, and open fields, to tailgate in. It’s a good time.

is that #5 now for the year? You guys are getting screwed, you did it to yourselves though, too many people shelling out the money week after week. The entire state needs to protest and listen to it on the radio (but of course that won’t happen).

might in the next couple of years for games like the first three we had this year. People dont mind paying for a game against a better opponent like today or next week but sooner or later the other games will get old and we wont. Actually I didn’t pay for any of the first three. Went some where else and watched them. Am doing that today also. The local pub. I may pay for next week we will see.

So I wont be joining for the game day thread today and that sucks cause I enjoy that. A little banter with the boys makes the game more enjoyable. I really hate going to the bar and dealing with the one dumbass drunk who doesn’t know shit about the game or the Huskers but sure likes to run his mouth.

greg is sharpe

sharpe does a solid job week in and out. the one real disappointment for me is that i led myself to believe that sharpe’s hiring would mean that never again would my ears be assaulted by the whiny, word-inventing, dorothy lynch-fueled rantings of jim rose, but week in and week out during a commercial break from the football game, here comes that insipid ginger and his irrationally fervent support of that thousand island knockoff. intolerable.
