Husker Hoops Game #4 -- Nebraska vs. Saint Louis Open Game Thread

Saint Louis Billikens (2-1) at Nebraska Cornuskers (3-0)

Where: Bob Devaney Sports Center, Lincoln, NE

When: 7 PM

TV: Fox Sports Net in Nebraska, ESPN Full Court National (Webcast on ESPN 360)

Radio: Husker Sports Network (1110 AM Omaha, 1400 AM Lincoln, Sirius 125

Media Previews: Journal-Star, World-Herald, St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Tonight, the Huskers host Rick Majerus and the 2-1 St. Louis Billikens on their second televised game of the season.  The Billikens are coming off a tight win over Boston College, and look to be a tight matchup with the Huskers.

Both teams are defense-first teams and a bit undersized, so there shouldn't be a massive contrast of styles.  St. Louis is a little bigger, Nebraska a little faster.  The problem is that both teams are a little anemic on offense, so the game could get ugly when good defenses match up with weak offenses.

This should be the first real challenge of the year, and a good tune-up for Saturday's big tilt with Creighton.
