I'm not sure where I'll be game time. If things work out right, I'll already be in Western Nebraska shooting at four-legged animals. They rarely work out that well, so I'll probably be moving across I-80 listening to Greg Sharpe and crew on the radio. Just the same, I hope you'll all come together!

3-and-out

for KState to start the game
Woo-Hoo!

Bummer

pick-six for KState’s Herndon

Not a good start for Ganz

Helu – drives for the TD!!

Good D forces punt

DLine getting into the backfield a couple times on that series.

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 3:02 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Excellent news

I was hoping to see the blackshirts at work, but we can’t get the game on PPV here

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 3:07 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

36 yd TD for Castille

Suh, again in the game on offense
that was a 4th and 2 inch play

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 3:06 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Once he bounced it outside...

…it was all over…

The PPV quality isn’t very good. Bad camera work…

by Husker Mike on Nov 15, 2008 3:08 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Thanks

that makes me feel better!

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 3:11 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Darn it

What happened on that play for the TD?

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 3:17 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

KSU held Potter on the o-line...

…then Freeman threw a strike. West had decent coverage, but the ball was right on target.

by Husker Mike on Nov 15, 2008 3:28 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Costly penalty

on 3rd and ten so we punt. (pass interference on Swift)

KState fumbled the punt
We Recover!!
Of course they review it, but it stands

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 3:26 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

From the PPV instant replay...

….we caught a break on that fumbled punt. I think his elbow was down before the ball came out. But I think the refs decided it wasn’t conclusive, so we kept the ball. If it had been called down by contact, the review wouldn’t have changed it either.

TD Helu!

from the 24 yard line
2nd rushing TD for Helu
Quick score after the turnover!

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 3:28 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

A passing TD

Excellent way to finish the drive.
It took so long, I really thought we’d end up with a FG…

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 3:41 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Blackshirts are back...

First Downs: Huskers 13, Puddytats 3
Yards: Huskers 231, Puddytats 94 (63 on one play)

by Husker Mike on Nov 15, 2008 3:41 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

If this keeps up...

I’ll need to ammend my fanpost!
Which I will be MORE than happy to do

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 3:46 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

3 straight 3-and-outs for the blackshirts

and a TD Ganz to McNeil

35-14 with :44 left in 1st half

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 4:01 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

That

was a horrible call on Potter. He didn’t use his hands to hit Freeman. What a joke.

by taflorom on Nov 15, 2008 4:07 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

The announcers

said it was bogus. Wish I coulda seen it myself.

Aside from 3 plays (2 penalies and the pick-six) an excellent half of football, I would say.

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 4:20 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

anyone still

here??? I got on late. Its halftime.

by taflorom on Nov 15, 2008 4:20 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

guess

you answered my question with your reply

by taflorom on Nov 15, 2008 4:22 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

It's halftime

I had to check out my other teams: UNC basketball and football
We live in eastern NC

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 4:26 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Coach

how is he looking on the side lines?
He shouldn’t have had too many outbursts today

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 4:27 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

They

haven’t even shown the sidelines much. He was pretty relaxed at halftime during the interview

by taflorom on Nov 15, 2008 4:28 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I think after Oklahoma...

…Bo is really checking his emotions. He’s learning too.

by Husker Mike on Nov 15, 2008 4:37 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

well

here comes the offense again. Would be nice to seal this up for sure with a nice td drive

by taflorom on Nov 15, 2008 4:41 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Do you think it's time

if we are certain we have a hold of the game, that they put in another QB?
At some point before the season ends, that needs to happen, right?

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 4:42 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I think

if its still 35-14 to start the fourth I would put in Witt and then let Lee get in also.

by taflorom on Nov 15, 2008 4:50 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I think we're getting close enough to think about it...

Get the lead to 28 points, and it’s a no brainer.

Note that K-State already pulled Freeman…

by Husker Mike on Nov 15, 2008 4:52 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Carson Coffman...

…seems to be from a Peculiar place… :-)

by Husker Mike on Nov 15, 2008 4:54 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

This defensive drive...

…is rather disappointing… We can put the talk of putting the reserves in on hold, though a few may be coming in due to injuries….

by Husker Mike on Nov 15, 2008 4:58 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Unusual

our energy has decreased in the 2nd half
Usually we’re a 2nd half team

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 5:03 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Bo starting

to get a little heated. bout time too

by taflorom on Nov 15, 2008 5:06 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Ganz da man!

That’s a great drive to counter their TD

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 5:12 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Touchdown!

Way to get some momentum back…

by Husker Mike on Nov 15, 2008 5:12 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Ganz is the leading rusher...

10 rushes for 80 yards; Helu 13 carries for 72 yards…

by Husker Mike on Nov 15, 2008 5:14 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Was that just sloppy coverage?

that certainly puts a damper on the last drive

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 5:18 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Well

they missed a hold and a block in the back. Also missed a blatant PI penalty the play before Joe ran the TD. Refs starting to stink it up here late in the game

by taflorom on Nov 15, 2008 5:21 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

What's new...

…lots of crummy officiating this season….

by Husker Mike on Nov 15, 2008 5:27 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Another TD

by Ganz.
GO BIG RED

Hope the rest of the game is as good as it has been overall.

by babaandgal on Nov 15, 2008 5:31 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Joe Ganz is up to 94 yards....

I can just hear the whining from BRB….a NU quarterback is nearing 100 yards and is our leading rusher…
