Ask A Sooner
Greetings Husker fans!
My name is Matt and I publish SBN's Oklahoma Sooners fansite Crimson and Cream Machine. As we work on putting together previews for this weekend's Oklahoma/Nebraska game I thought that I would throw up this FanPost to see what you, the Nebraska fans, wanted to talk about. What do you want to know about this Oklahoma football team?
Post your questions here and I'll be more than happy to check in daily to provide you with the absolute best answers that I can. Have a great week and Boomer Sooner!

What's up with OU's D?
I watched some not all of the K-State game last week and the all of the Texas game and was wondering if Reynolds was really that important or if Venebles philosophy needs an overhaul. I live in OKC and get the feeling around here that OU fans are getting a little restless with him, am I way off? I remember in the late 80’s and early 90’s when NU was getting destroyed by Florida schools fans wanted to hang Charlie Mcbride. After he was given better players and a different scheme they thought he was a god. Is it the same situation with OU?
Lots of OU fans are asking that question
Oklahoma has just become susceptible to the big play for some reason. Part of it has to do with Reynolds injury and the inability to plug the middle as well as he did and another big part of it has been missed tackles. At one point last Saturday Kansas State had three touchdowns and 251 yards on three consecutive offensive possessions.
Some are blaming coaching, particularly defensive coordinator Brent Venables, but the big plays aren’t because defenders are out of position it is because they aren’t making plays. I credit it more to inexperience among the linebackers and defensive backs.
I am planning on betting my entire 401k balance on OU this week
as I think OU will win by 30+, tell me why I shouldn’t.
Have you seen Oklahoma's defense play lately.
The Sooners scored 55 first half points last Saturday against Kansas State and just barely won by 30+ points. Keep the money in your 401K or bet the over.
