I don't care who you are, this is a great story - having a student contest and finding a good kicker. Maybe he won't last, but then again, what if he does? He's going into the biggest game of most of his teammates lives this weekend. His too, but he just happened to get there out of chance and took advantage of the opportunity. What if he wins with a kick over Texas? Movie rights, that's what happens. Screw "Rudy". We'll be going to see "Matt" instead. Maybe they'll give him a nickname.
