Nebraska commit Cody Green leads District

Nebraska commit Cody Green(Dayton, TX) is district 19-4A passing leader. In 5 games Green has 91 completions/147 attempts for 1,115 yards and 14 touchdown passes(2 Int.) He has also done well on the ground with 340 yards rushing and 7 touchdowns.

Dayton has a 4-1 record overall and 3-0 in district play. Friday night games are braodcast on the web at www.kshn.com.

Week 7 Dayton vs. Barbers Hill

Dayton’s Cody Green rushed for five touchdowns and passed for another as he accumulated 426 total offensive yards. Cody Green’s 71-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Dugat was the start of Dayton’s rout over Barbers Hill.

  Cody Green has now thrown for 1,855 yards and 20 touchdowns. He has 141 completions of 220 attempts with only 3 interceptions. Cody has also rushed for 723 yards and 17 touchdowns. He has accounted for 2,578 yards of the teams 3,458 yards.
  The Dayton Broncos are now 7-1 on the season and 6-0 in district play. They defeated the C.E. King Panthers 46-7 on Friday night giving the Broncos their 9th district championship in 13 years and there 13 year in a row to make the playoffs.

Very impressive

The kid seems to have what it takes, I hope it transfers into the college game. Hopefully he’ll turn out to be better than Reesing and Daniels both Texas defectors.
