Husker Home Run Club Holds 2008 Baseball Meet & Greets

Hey Stitch Heads! It's time to start getting revved up about the 2008 baseball season!

The Husker Home Run Club, the official Nebraska baseball booster club, sponsors a pre-season get together this Saturday in Omaha at the Holiday Inn Central at 72nd and Grover from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

The Husker Home Run Club will provide a continental breakfast, a showing of 2007 highlights, and comments from the Husker coaching staff. Players will be available for autographs. They'll have another 'Meet and Greet' next weekend in Grand Island at 3311 W Stolley Park Rd from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, so all you people out there in the GI area can get the same treatment.

Attendees will have the opportunity to join the Husker Home Run Club at both events. You may not know this, but Nebraska's Home Run Club is one of the better baseball booster clubs in the nation.

Did I mention the Husker Home Run Club Meet & Greet events are free? They Are! Free food, talking about Husker baseball, autographs from players - what else do you want????

We'll be starting our baseball previews in the next few days. We're going to start our baseball previews talking about what happened in 2007 and the upcoming 2008 schedule.

The Husker Home Run club Jr is available for kids 2-12 at a very low cost ($10), and they sponsor events during a lot of the home weekends throughout the season. Great for the kids and great for Nebraska baseball! (That's just so bubbly sweet, how can you resist?)
