Jon was nice enough to post a diary on Conquest Chronicles asking about Nutty LA Times Columnist T.J.Simers and his gratuitous shots at Nebraska fans. I and many other SC fans do not share his views as we understand the passion that Nebraska fans have for their team. We respect the proud history of your program and look forward to a great game on on September 15th.
He's an embarrassment that we unfortunately have to bear.

Appreciate that post, Paragon. I'm striving not to give Simers much more attention, but word is the column was front page in the Lincoln Journal-Star today.
Can anyone in Nebraska confirm that?

I kind of expect this from Simers and his ilk. There's nothing new about this. I'm just not sure why he did this now. It's the first week of August. We don't play for a month and a half. What's the point of pissing off Nebraska fans now? No one's gonna remember come game week.
