Nebraska Baseball Boosters - The Husker Home Run Club

Every college team needs a good booster club, and the Husker baseball team has the Husker Home Run Club. As a booster club, the Home Run Club enhances the baseball program by doing such things as a $70,000 audio/video improvement to the Husker baseball locker room. In 2005, the Home Run Club helped by funding a trip to Hawaii to play Hawaii-Hilo at the beginning of the season.

In 2006, the Home Run Club had 542 members  and in 2007, membership should expand to close to 600, with around 100 of those members being from out of state.

Booster clubs by definition are not allowed to do anything for individual student athletes. They may provide funding for team equipment and improvements to facilities. Best of all, they provide activities for members, especially kids which we'll be detailing in a future article.

Membership Levels for the Husker Home Run Club:

  •  $50 - Receive a $15 gift certificate to use at the Home Run Club Trailer or at the Husker homerunclub.com Gift Shop, plus a window decal and Baseball Newsletter.

  • $150 - Receive a $25 gift certificate to use at the Home Run Club Trailer or at the Husker homerunclub.com Gift Shop, plus a window decal and Baseball Newsletter.

  • $300 - Receive a $35 gift certificate to use at the Home Run Club Trailer or at the Husker homerunclub.com Gift Shop, plus a window decal and Baseball Newsletter.

  • $500 - Receive a $45 gift certificate to use at the Home Run Club Trailer or at the Husker homerunclub.com Gift Shop, plus a window decal and Baseball Newsletter.

  • $750 - Receive a $55 gift certificate to use at the Home Run Club Trailer or at the Husker homerunclub.com Gift Shop, plus a window decal and Baseball Newsletter.

The Baseball Newsletter is mailed out via email on a weekly basis.

If you're a fan of Nebraska baseball, consider joining and helping out the Husker baseball team!
